Shipwreck off of Scicli: UNHCR: More than 100 deaths at sea in 2013. Twenty-eight thousand people have landed on the Italian coast this year.

30 September 2013: According to the UNHCR, to date in 2013, about 28.000 persons have landed on the Italian coast after crossing the Mediterranean. More than 100 migrants and asylum seekers have died at sea since the beginning of the year.
